ASG is honored to announce the successful completion of another specialized SATAC refresher course for the Irish Coast Guard (IRCG), Ireland's primary agency for Search & Rescue (SAR) and Maritime Safety. This course is part of an ongoing recurrent training program designed for personnel who have previously completed the full SATAC course.

This bespoke training, which commenced nearly five years ago, has now been delivered to over 100 Watch Officers across multiple sessions. The latest refresher course was specifically tailored to update and enhance the skills of IRCG personnel, covering vital areas such as Operational Risk Management, Emergency Response Planning, Meteorology, Navigation, Flight Planning, Air Law, and Communications. Key focus areas also included SAR operating procedures, Flight Time Limitations, Human Factors, and Crew Resource Management (CRM).
ASG's commitment to providing this advanced training underscores our dedication to supporting the IRCG’s mission in delivering world-class SAR services along the Irish coastline. The course ensures that the IRCG personnel remain at the forefront of maritime safety, ready to effectively coordinate and conduct SAR operations 24/7, all year round.
