ATPL revision modules

Our module revision days are timed in line with the published Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) ATPL exam sittings which take place every two months. For example, we have revision dates for all modules in early October in advance of the IAA's October examination dates, in early December in time for the December exam sittings and so on. You can plan the dates for your modules in advance and if the plan changes (depending on your progress) you can easily switch on to a later revision period.

All of our training is conducted at Kestrel House in the Dublin Airport Logistics Park right next to Dublin Airport. Daily timings are 12-8pm daily to allow for people travelling to/from the revision sessions. If you wish you can even elect to sit some of your ATPL revision classes "online" and some "in-class" using our innovative hybrid classroom concept.

In terms of daily timetable, we ask you for feedback on which areas that you are having difficulties with and our instructors tailor the day to the student's needs. If we receive no feedback, the instructor completes an overview of the main subject/theories, focussed subject revision and ATPL question practice.

How does the "hybrid" classroom option work?

ASG offers an innovative new "hybrid" classroom concept in order to provide you with the ultimate flexibility when choosing how you would like to attend their ATPL revision classes with us. Students can now choose to sit-in or log-in for their classes. You can even alternate from day to day, by logging in on one day or physically attending the class on the next.

The concept is simple: our "live" ATPL revision classes will continue to be conducted on location in Dublin, Ireland. Some students may be "in-class" and others will be attending by logging in. In order to ensure a fantastic classroom experience for those attending remotely, we have invested in 4K webcams, a dedicated instructor login station, and a classroom facing flat-screen display where the faces of those attending remotely will even be displayed to the students who are attending physically - so everyone will feel part of our new "hybrid" classroom environment!

Aside from affording the possibility of reducing associated travel/accommodation costs, with the current global pandemic it will also permit students to attend who, due to current travel restrictions, may not be able to travel to us. It even allows our current students to decide to "drop in" for a subject revision if they have already completed the respective model (subject to classroom capacity).

"From my initial inquiry, to receiving my final exam results 8 months later with first time passes, the ASG team have been a huge support. I've recently been offered my first flying job and I owe a lot of this to the ASG team for the unrivalled instruction and support along the way"

Robert Dunne, ATPL student

"The instructors are highly approachable, enthusiastic and interested in their respective subjects - I believe the knowledge and insights obtained while studying with ASG has not only allowed me to pass the ATPL exams but also equipped me with a depth and breadth of knowledge that I will take with me in my future aviation career.

John Murtagh, ATPL student

"I found the professionalism and also the friendliness of the instructors second to none. I completed the course while maintaining full time employment and this was only possible because of the flexibility offered by ASG"
