ASG will be attending the Dubai Airshow on Nov. 16th to make a very exciting announcement about a new partnership which will herald in a new era of innovation in Pilot training.

You’ll find us at the “Irish Aviation House” chalet which is hosted by Enterprise Ireland, the Irish government’s innovation and trade agency. The chalet’s prime position on the runway at Dubai World Central airport not only offers the best views of the Airshow, but will also allow us to meet key industry partners as we look to train the Pilots of tomorrow, today.

The Airshow is primed to be a strong catalyst for the sector to convene and fuel business opportunities at a time when airlines are preparing for a strong rebound as well as acting as a meeting point where partners are coming together to support one another on the global stage and to play their part in the global economic recovery.

ASG’s hybrid classroom concept in action with our Italian students

We we were delighted to recently see our hybrid classroom in action! We welcomed two of our Italian students on-site in Dublin for their ATPL revision classes while two of our other Italian students logged in remotely from Italy.

We provide our ATPL students with the ultimate flexibility when choosing how they would like to attend their ATPL revision classes with us. They can attend your revision classes physically, remotely, or both.

For our remote learners, we have invested significantly in technology and training to ensure the most effective possible remote learning environment for those who decide to attend classes in this way. In order to ensure a fantastic classroom experience, our classroom is equipped with 4K definition webcams, RØDE broadcast quality microphones, a dedicated instructor login station, and a classroom facing flat-screen display where the faces of those attending remotely will even be displayed to the students who are attending physically so that everyone feels part of our classroom environment. We have conducted a lot of research in trying to improve the student experience and out instructors have received specific training in the delivery of training to a hybrid audience i.e. with some students physically attending and others attending remotely.

Each one of our ATPL instructors are selected for their practical industry experience and expertise in their theoretical domains. While many ATO's use their day-to-day flight instructors for ATPL instruction, by using subject matter experts (directly from industry) we can focus on providing the highest quality of training. We hire directly from the aviation industry and our instructors include: current airline pilots, type rating instructors, aircraft and avionics technicians, human factors specialists, military pilot instructors, aeronautical engineers, and air traffic controllers.
