This scholarship program is aimed at aspiring pilots who hold either a Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL) or are undergoing PPL training and will be fully completed within the 12-month redemption period. The scholarship program will provide one successful applicant with the opportunity to undergo the ATPL theory course with ASG, one of the leading providers of EASA aviation training, at no cost.

- Our ATPL theory learning centre is accessible across all devices from desktop to mobile. Everything is even downloadable for offline use so that you can review the material at any time, from anywhere.
- Access to our subject matter experts (SME) learning and administrative support throughout training to support you.
- Access our industry leading “ATPL theory Masterclass video series” which was created by our subject matter experts to provide you with key specific exam preparation techniques for each subject on the ATPL syllabus to help you to study smarter and achieve the best possible grades.
- Access to our online discussions and chat forums where you can engage with our team and the rest of your ASG crew (students).
- You can book your revision classes online, attend our live classroom lectures remotely or physically, and choose to complete your entire ATPL theory course without ever having to travel. We have invested in RØDE broadcast quality microphones and 4K webcams to enhance the remote learning experience.
- 720 hours of distance learning followed by 10 days’ (72 hours) of live lectures in preparation for your ATPL examinations (remote or classroom attendance).
- All progress and school ATO “mock” exams, and Area 100 KSA assessments, required for ATO sign-off are (including two ATO exam attempts) and these assessments can be completed remotely from anywhere.
- ATO sign-off to sit your examinations under any EASA authority (for example, the IAA).
- Access to the industry’s best ATPL instructors who have been selected for their practical industry experience and expertise in their theoretical domains. While many ATO's use their day-to-day flight instructors for ATPL instruction, by using subject matter experts (directly from industry) we can focus on providing the highest quality of training. We hire directly from the aviation industry and our instructors include current airline pilots, type rating instructors, aircraft and avionics technicians, human factors specialists, military pilot instructors, aeronautical engineers, and air traffic controllers.
The scholarship is open to all aspiring pilots who meet the following criteria:
- Must hold a Private Pilot Licence (PPL) or a Student Pilot Licence (SPL).
- The offer must be redeemed within 12 months (i.e. course commencement).
- Must be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to the aviation industry and a desire to pursue a career as a commercial pilot.
Applications for the scholarship will be assessed by an expert panel, with the successful applicant being chosen based on their suitability. The panel will be looking for candidates who demonstrate a passion for aviation, a strong work ethic, leadership and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to excellence in training.
The closing date for applications is May 31st 2024. Applicants must complete the below application form together with a short personal statement outlining their interest in aviation and their career aspirations.
